Written Gestures

When presented with the opportunity to speak before others and give either an affectionate congratulations or an empassioned presentation, the anxiety can either block the words from coming out onto paper, or worse, out in front of people. Below is an example of a speech written and spoken for the client to not only have the words, but the way to say them.

We’ve been best friends since 6th grade and although we’re like apples and oranges, the fruits of our relationship have always been sweet.
Your husband is so lucky to have someone as driven, motivated, and reliable as you as a wife.
You’ve been the mom when the girls and I acted like children, and I would have many more scars, and a more broken heart if not for you.
There are memories that I have of our times together that I can’t say here, but know that I hold them close, and will never let them go.

Marriage is a covenant of unending love, and the love that you give is the kind that has no limit. It’s the kind that can be felt deep in the spirit.
1st Corinthians 13 says that love is patient, kind, appreciative, protective, humble, hopeful, trusting, and perseverant.
And you are all these and more. You are like Love. You were made in the likeness of God and because I’ve known you, I’ve come to know just how good God is. Although you are going to be joined in a new covenant with Christ,
know I will always be there,
your best friend,
for life.
